Spartan Spinners--January 13, 2021--NOW--Notes on Wednesday

Hi, Spinners,

There are several important notes this week:

The 2021 South Carolina Square and Round Dance State Convention has been CANCELED

Good News--Earlene Stricklin (Peach Blossoms) came home today and feels like she has been released from jail. Her phone seems to be working better, she loves to get calls, and would enjoy cards. Home address: 109 Clearview Drive Lyman, SC 29365 Phone: 803-732-4425

Nancy Lunny is at home with COVID.

W.C. Bain will have knee surgery on January 25.

The Federal Government has opened the COVID vaccinations to all those 70 years old and above. John Tarrant reports that Ingles will be giving COVID vaccinations. Go to ingles-markets.com, and then it says vaccinations will be available by appointment only. You have to register to be put on a wait list, and then they will contact you to schedule an appointment when you are eligible and appointments are available.
or
Nancy Pustinger says that you can call DHEC at 855-472-3482 to set up an appointment.

John Tarrant reminds us: Don't ever question the value of volunteers. Noah's ark was built by volunteers. The Titanic was built by professionals.

We are forwarding some pictures from Jean Hollister that will make your day.

Hope this beautiful weather lasts for awhile,
Elizabeth and Jim Frederick
